Went to Distant World: Music from Final Fantasy concert at Esplanade yesterday. Technically Singapore Festive Orchestra played well, but just thought the right feelings for each crucial part of the tune was not properly conveyed...As an amateur to FF pieces, SFO failed to leave me an impression. It was not Arnie Roth's fault, it was SFO's. They don know FF.


I wondered what kind of impressions SFO left Nobuo Uematsu with. I hope it was not bad enough to make him not come to Singapore again. hee. Nothing beats the natives, i bet. Ya, Nothing beats Tour de Japon. That's the best orchestral FF I have heard so far.

Cheery blossoms in Japan has already bloomed for this year...blame it on global warming. Climate is all hay-wired nowadays. Even timing cherry blossom can be so hard now. Sad that I will be missing this them for this year again...Hope I will have better luck next year.

Seriously speaking, this is the last form of music I thought I would appreciate. But strangely enough, the high-pitch squeaking of this alien princess is ringing in my head this minute now. And it is going to stay for a while. No kidding, she is that addictive. I like her last stretched 'Yaa' the best.
